The Getty | Herb Ritts L.A. Style

One of my favorite portraits featuring 90's top models: Stephanie Seymour, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Tatjana Patitz, and Naomi Campbell.

If you are a lover of high fashion, bold architecture, and black and white photography; I strongly urge you to make a visit to the Getty Museum for late photographer Herb Ritts, L.A. Style exhibition featuring a lifetime of his brilliant and iconic work showcasing until September 2.

Style Spotlight: Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor

Atlanta is the type of It-girl that oozes more style in her left pinky than we would ever have in our entire existence. Not to sound impudent-but when you call the bassist of 80's pop band Duran Duran, dad, famed photographer Amanda de Cadenet, mom, and co-founder of Juicy Couture Gela Nash-Taylor, stepmom-it's undoubtedly a given you were blessed with fashion flowing in your veins.

Art Exhibit | A Distant Winter

Last night I was suuuper excited to go check out the opening exhibition for 'A Distant Winter' at the Phone Booth Gallery in Long Beach. Since the gallery is located right by my house, we decided to take a nice, evening stroll over there to check out the artwork and meet some of the amazing, talented artists.

Fashionable Staycation: Planet Blue

Staycation: A vacation spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and
involving day trips to local attractions.

Inspired by Planet Blue's summer lookbook and with the official kick of summer, it's time to start thinking of some fun staycation ideas. No need to worry about what to pack or sit in paranoia at the airport fretting that you forgot to pack your iPhone charger. Instead, venture out to other cities in your state, explore new scenery right in your own backyard, learn to surf, or do something that you'd never, ever do before.

Love our Earth: Beach Clean-Up

Today I participated in our City's monthly beach clean-up volunteer program. It's so important for us to take care of our planet; whether it be riding our bike instead of driving, composting instead of trashing, switching to reusable water bottles and bags, or simply turning the lights off in your home when you're not using it.  I urge everyone to educate yourself on ways you can diminish your carbon footprint on this Earth. We are all renting this space on Earth for a limited time and we should all do our part to make our planet a safer, healthier, cleaner environment for the future.

Style Spotlight: Kimbra

Kimbra first stepped into the scene as the raven-haired, abstract-painted bitter ex to Goyte's "Somebody that I Use to Know." Aside from her alluring and extraordinary vocal ability there's also her personal style that's caught our full attention.

Best Dressed: Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston can do no wrong in my eyes, and she proved it once again at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards that she's still America's Sweetheart. Clad in a leather Valentino one-shoulder LBD paired with black Giuseppe Zanotti heels, toned physic, glowing skin, and sleek-straight hair; the actress took home the golden popcorn for new category of Best On-Screen Dirtbag Award for her role as Julia, a physically aggressive, sex-crazed dentist in "Horrible Bosses."

Model Crush: Rachel Rutt

Known for her endearingly, huge doe-eyed, shy-girl smile, and legs that refuse to stop, it's plain to see why nineteen year-old Rachel Rutt is one of the most sought-after, in-demand models of the moment.

Trending Now: Printed Pants

How to Wear Printed Pants

Why should your tops have all the fun? Playful, relaxing trousers in prints such as ikat, leopard, and floral are hitting the scene with bold force and intensity. Since these pants are quite the fashion statement in itself, they are best paired with a solid top, but can be daring when it comes to footwear choice.  So this summer, give your tops a break and let your pants have all the fun.

Wedding Edition: The Vintage Bride

With so much more focus on individuality and self-expression it's a lot easier for the modern-day-bride to find a way to express her vintage side.  Enter BHLDN, Dutch for "to keep." Started by sister company Anthropologie and hipster-haven Urban Outfitters, BHLDN caters to the stylishly discerning bride. The online bridal shop offers everything a wedding would call for including one-of-a-kind wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses (your bridesmaids would actually want to wear), delicate veils, antique-inspired jewelry, kooky and creative headpieces, and décor ranging from tabletop trimmings to tongue-in-cheek cake toppers.  Now that's something to say "I do" to!

Style Spotlight: Natalie Obradovich

There's something so artistic about the way an interior designer puts together a room, yet for us fashion feens there's something so sublime about the way an interior designer puts together an outfit.  Upon first glance at this Croatian-born blonde, and you'd know she meant business-style wise! A former assistant to in-demand interior and now, clothing designer Kelly Wearstler, one look at Obradovich's polished, put-together ensembles and you'd instantly trust her to adorn your abode.

Sneak Peek: Madewell Fall 2012 Lookbook

Although, summer hasn't officially begun yet, there's something about the anticipation of a new season that gets most of us girls walking with a skip in our step.  That reason alone is the preview of the seasons newest lookbook.

Style Spotlight: Alison Mosshart

If anyone were to be crowned best rock style, all would hail Kills frontwoman Alison Mosshart as the reigning queen. While some may run to a black-on-black wardrobe, Mosshart embraces color with pizazz. Known for their London-beat, dirty-back-bar sound, Mosshart's style seems to exemplify how music and fashion go hand-in-hand. Her effortlessly grunge, toss-on-whatever-is-clean-and-run-out-the-door look has many of us completely mesmerized. Whether combining bright, multi-colored knits or patterned prints along with her wildly-coiffed pink mane; she manages to pull it off like only a rocker could.
